Since it’s inception 13 years ago the DFC always started off with a game between the Police & Firemen. For many years it was the Jersey City PD vs. the Jersey City FD. In recent years it has been extended to include Hudson County’s Finest, represented by the Jersey City PD, the Union City PD. the Hoboken PD, and the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office playing against Hudson County’s Bravest featuring firemen from Jersey City, Kearny, Hoboken, and Bayonne.
The Badgers won their first game in the 11 year history of the DFC 2 years ago and look to get back in the win column this year. The Hosers look to get serious and return to dominance. The DFC would like to thank all those who play, especially JCFD’s Carl Ross and JCPD’s Dwayne Dowell as well as the tremendous support we receive from the respective departments.
