Naismith Hall Of Fame member Carol Blazejowski has accepted our invitation and has hit the ground running in an effort, along with several other of our loyal volunteers, to restore the “Girl’s” game to the schedule. There is not enough room on these pages to list Carol’s credentials “Blazing” her trail through Cranford HS, Montclair State College, the WNBA, and International competition. She even left her mark on the NBA as the Director of Women’s Basketball Programs.
John Forestieri has been with the DFC since jump start as the committee chairman in charge of security.He is a loyal member of IAABO Board #33 and a retired officer from the Passaic County Correctional facilities who is finally being recognized after many years of unwavering devotion to the DFC.
Mike Mara was a classmate of Dan Finn at both St. Peter’s Prep and Fordham University and someone Dan always looked up to. He has taken the chairmanship of the highly successful Dan Finn Foundation Charity Gala, a top shelf social extravaganza that honors distinguished citizens and is dedicated to showing all that the DFC is more than just a basketball showcase. Mike is an executive with Bank of America Merrill in New York City.
